Ashley Henderson is the Controller of Live Oak. Her responsibilities include all accounting, tax, treasury and financial reporting for the firm and its assets.

Prior to joining Live Oak, Ashley spent thirteen years in various roles in public accounting and oil and gas specific industry roles. Ashley started her career as an assurance professional with BDO USA LLP (f/k/a UHY LLP), specializing in upstream oil and gas, royalties and minerals and oilfield services companies. In 2017, Ashley left public accounting to pursue various management roles with upstream oil and gas and mineral and royalty companies where she was responsible for preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes and MD&A, facilitation of external audits, technical accounting assessment and implementation, and assessment and documentation of control.

Ashley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude, and a Master of Science in Accounting, with a Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence from the University of Houston. Ashley has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas since 2010.
