Katy Franz is Office Manager for Live Oak, where she oversees all day-to-day operational aspects and critical functions of the company and its subsidiaries. Katy is directly responsible for revenue and accounts payable accounting processes, division order management, marketing and event operations, and talent acquisition for the firm and its subsidiaries. Her experience and broad skillset is derived from a tenured career in the marketing, public relations and communications industry with public and private industry leading firms.

 

Prior to joining Live Oak, Katy worked as Global Marketing Manager for Halliburton’s Landmark business line, managing numerous high profile global efforts within the organization. Prior to re-joining Halliburton, Katy worked for a consultant of British Petroleum, serving as the communications lead for certain systems based programs at The Fifth Business, an industry leading, privately held communications and design agency. Prior to working with BP, Katy directed and developed marking efforts for various programs at The Shaw Group, Inc., a Fortune 500 engineering, design and construction services company. Katy began her career in public relations at Halliburton Company and KBR, Inc. (a former subsidiary of Halliburton), where she would ultimately return to spend nearly a decade of her career.

 

Katy holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Mass Communications from Texas State University.
