Ryan Hanna is the Director of Business Development for Live Oak. In this role, Ryan is responsible for generating new business by identifying, negotiating and closing transactions. Ryan is actively engaged in building relationships with landowners and industry.

 

Prior to joining Live Oak, Ryan spent over five years in the upstream and midstream sectors of the oil and gas business. Most recently, Ryan served as Land and Survey Manager for TRC Companies with a primary focus on driving new business with key midstream accounts. Ryan was responsible for client management and identifying new U.S. onshore business opportunities in the Permian, Eagle Ford, Marcellus and DJ Basins.

 

Ryan began his career with Noble Energy, where he worked as a Land Negotiator. Ryan’s primary focus was the management of mineral and surface operations, retaining valuable acreage under 8,500 wells in the DJ Basin. In his time with Noble, Ryan completed an extensive two-year rotation program throughout all land and business development groups.

 

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Energy Commerce (Petroleum Land Management) from Texas Tech University and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University. Ryan holds several professional licenses including a Registered Professional Landman designation from the American Association of Petroleum Landmen.
