Houston, Texas November 22, 2024 – Live Oak Resource Partners, LLC (“Live Oak”) announced the closing of new parallel investment vehicles Live Oak III-B SPV, LP and Live Oak Resource Partners III-B, LLC (collectively, "Fund III-B") with unspecified commitments.

“Fund III-B was established in furtherance of Live Oak's continued investment into the Western Haynesville. Live Oak believes it has one of the largest positions in the Western Haynesville and is seeking to opportunistically increase exposure to this prolific resource."

The Western Haynesville is a rapidly developing natural gas play in East Texas, extending the broader Haynesville and Bossier system into a deper, higher-pressure portion of the basin. The reservoir here is believed to contain larger recoverable volumes of natural gas, and requires advanved drilling and completion techniques because of extrme temperatures and pressures.

Headquartered in Houston, Live Oak focuses on the acquisition of royalty, mineral, and non-operated working interests in Texas and Louisiana.
